All information and results on the site are general reference material, based on tax and other relevant laws and published notices, provided to help you understand the topic. They are not tax, legal, financial or medical advice, or an interpretation of the law. For your specific case, please check with a professional such as a tax accountant or lawyer, or with the relevant authority.
Calculators are reference tools that show rough estimates based on what you enter. Actual tax, pay, insurance premiums, loan limits and similar amounts may differ depending on eligibility for deductions and reductions, your filings, the law in force at the time, and the standards of employers and financial institutions. Please have results confirmed by a professional or the relevant authority before relying on them for filings, payments or contracts.
Some results are ultimately decided by other institutions or parties. For example:
BMI and other health-related calculators only show general reference criteria and do not replace a medical diagnosis.
The operator tries to keep information accurate and up to date but does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Tax laws, related laws, notices and interest rates can change at any time and may not be reflected on the site immediately. As a rule, government announcements and proposed amendments are reflected only after they are finalized, for example by passing the National Assembly. Figures for the following year that have already been promulgated may be reflected in advance with their effective date shown. Reference dates and sources are listed on the Standards and sources page (Korean).
Some values, such as exchange rates, come from external services and are market reference rates updated once a day. Rates and fees actually applied by banks differ, so please check your financial institution's posted rate before large transactions. The operator is not responsible for differences caused by errors or delays in external information.
Calculations and information on the site are based on the laws of the Republic of Korea. The overseas refund schemes in the tax refund calculator are reference values as checked for each country. Otherwise, the site does not apply to the tax laws or systems of other countries.
Tax and financial situations differ from person to person, so the general information and formulas on the site may not apply to your individual situation as they stand.
All calculations take place in your browser, and your inputs are not sent to or stored on the server of the site. Some features, such as the work experience and grocery calculators, save inputs only in your browser for convenience, and they are deleted when you clear the site data in your browser. Results are not kept anywhere, so please record them yourself if needed.
The site may contain third-party advertising, such as Google ads, and external links. The content of sites reached through ads or links, and any transactions made there, are the responsibility of those businesses, and the operator does not guarantee them.
You are responsible for decisions based on the site's information or results and for any actions you take as a result. The operator is not liable for resulting losses. The same applies where the service is interrupted or values are displayed incorrectly for reasons beyond the operator's control, such as natural disasters or hosting failures. Losses caused by the operator's intent or gross negligence are an exception.
